Designed for cost sensitive applications, the Electronic Solutions ES560 is a strike interface module which may be used for a variety of door applications.Two single pole, double throw sets of contacts – one to control the lock, the second to trigger the door – are provided. Both contact sets are rated for 3A maximum at 28VDC. The lock control output includes built-in spike protection varistors.
Values of 1-8 seconds may be chosen for both the unlock and the open delays. The interval between door unlocking and door opening may be set to 0.5, 1, 1.5, or 2 seconds.
A dry contact input triggers the ES560. The input burden is 24VDC nominal at 10 milliamperes maximum. An indicator on the module offers visual confirmation that it is being activated by the external switch.
The power requirement for the ES560 is 16-24 volts AC or 24-30 volts DC at 100 milliamperes maximum. A ten position DIP switch sets the time delays. An indicator is included which shows the module’s status during operation. A high quality clamping type fixed terminal block is used. Module size is approximately 2.75” x 2.75”, allowing convenient installation inside the door header.
