ES555 8 x 8 Expansion Module for ES550

Description

The Electronic Solutions ES555 expansion module is used in conjunction with the ES550 interlock. The expansion module adds eight inputs as well as eight dry contact outputs (8×8) to the basic ES550 module. The ES555 also includes an expansion connector, permitting multiple ES555 modules to be cascaded for additional inputs and outputs as required. The number of modules which can be stacked is typically limited only by the available space for the desired programming.

The input burden for each actuating signal is 24VDC at 15 milliamperes maximum. An input LED offers visual confirmation that the module is being activated by the external switch. Each output contact is rated for 1A at 30VDC maximum. Input and output connections are made via removable terminal blocks. Both normally closed and normally open output contacts are provided, enhancing the versatility of the module.
The ES555 is powered from the host ES550. Module size is 5.625” x 3.75”.
